Establishing your Brand…
Establishing your brand is something that won’t happen overnight. It takes months to years to really establish your brand and become reputable. During this time it is critical that you put in the work. From my experience, there are a lot of people that assume that since they are opening a business, 100’s of people are waiting for them to launch..not true. You will need a plan, but more importantly, you will need to EXECUTE that plan. Execution is critical and this is where a lot of businesses fail.
Execution involves:
A solidified plan for growth, which can include:
Website Goals
Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Goals. (A good planner can really help with this)
Social Media Strategy
Grass Roots Marketing plan or Digital Marketing Plan
Networking
Great Visual Design
Logos
Websites
Marketing Materials
Social Media Templates
Consistency
Consistency
and more Consistency
I’ve been doing Logo Design for over 10 years, and I still get asked if I do Logo Design. Even when you think you are being consistent and getting your message out, double down and put out more content. Consistent, High-Resolution designs across all platforms speak volumes about the standard by which you carry your brand. How many times have you seen a frustrating, low-quality website, that was so bad you decided to close the tab instead of going any further? How many times have you seen a low-resolution, pixelated/blurry logo design and automatically thought that their service probably wasn’t the best? It subconsciously happens more often than you think. So when you go to develop your plan, it would be wise to include your visual identity into this plan. Because this will set you apart from the competition.
All in all, sticking to these goals will help you develop consistency in your business. Simply talking about your business consistently can help get into the minds of your prospective customers. In 2021, people are always on their phones, why not put your business right in front of their face at every opportunity.
This leads to the topic of great design. Great design will help you take advantage of having your customer’s attention for those precious few seconds. Check my next blog post for more..
