CASE STUDY: ClearVue Financial

Objective:

ClearVue Financial has been operating for years but not achieving the results it wanted to. We partnered with ClearVue to strategize on what would be the best approach for a rebrand. Along the way we would be redeveloping their logo, website, and marketing materials. In addition to this, they were in search of a fresh, appealing, modern approach to build their business with.

STRATEGY

The approach we took with ClearVue aimed to shift perceptions surrounding taxes and finances. Many individuals tend to avoid these topics not out of dislike, but due to lack of understanding. By making ClearVue more relatable as a brand, we aspire to alter the negative connotations often associated with financial matters.

After researching the industry, we were able to gather valuable information on what worked, and what didn’t. We learned that certain colors invoke certain emotions in the financial industry. Blue is known for Trustworthiness and professionalism, while orange is known for being upbeat, outgoing, and energetic. As you can see, the typeface has a bit more kearning than usual. We did this to give a better sense of clarity. The checkmark icon signifies diligence, however, if you look closely you can also see there is a “C” and a “V” for ClearVue. By using the principles of the design, we were able to build the website around that and create a fresh new look and experience for ClearVue. Clarity, preciseness, and visual appeal are all elements that we chose to build around to make the rebrand of ClearVue a possibility.
